Andy Murray - US Open Tennis Odds 2010
Andy Murray is the highest ranked British Player at No.4 and he reached the Final of the 2008 US Open and looks capable of going one better in 2010. Murray has been steadily rising up the rankings for the past three years and he looks on the cusp of winning a Grand Slam. Murray has closed in on Federer and Nadal in the World Rankings and has beaten both players on a regular basis which will stand him in good stead at Flushing Meadow.
2009 was an excellent year for the brilliant Scot winning four titles so far and having a decent year in the Grand Slams so far. He started the year by reaching the 4th Round in the Australian Open before falling to the in form Fernando Verdasco which was slightly disappointing as he went into the event as one of the favourites. At the French Open he reached a career best quarter-final which was a great result on by far his weakest surface and that set him up for a good Wimbledon campaign.

Murray would go onto reach the Semi-Finals at the All England Club which once again was another career best performance which is encouraging to Murray backers. He did exactly the same this year as he went down to eventual winner Rafa Nadal, nevertheless he seems to be edging closer to that elusive first Grand Slam title. Since then he has arrived in America and looks in good form, despite parting with his coach Miles Maclagan he went to Toronto and picked up the Masters series title. He beat Federer and Nadal in consecutive days and looks ready for a big fortnight at Flushing Meadow.
He is playing superbly well and he will have a big chance to go all the way at this tournament. Check out the US Open Free bet option.
